Eufaula sits along the Chattahoochee River in southeastern Alabama, serving as the county seat of Barbour County. The city spreads across rolling hills where Alabama meets Georgia, with the river forming the state boundary. US Highway 431 runs north-south through downtown Eufaula, connecting the city to Dothan 45 miles south and Montgomery 90 miles north.
