The breakfast staff were always very kind. There was one front desk staffer who was really kind and helpful and made the stay very pleasant. Cleaning staff were also quick and attentive to any needs. The view from the 3rd floor was gorgeous.

The host was very welcoming and informative. The accommodations were roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was on the lighter side (cereal, yoghurt, pastries) but overall excellent. The B&B was a little hard to find as it's in a larger building occupying one floor. You only see the sign near the main doorway.
With a countryside setting in Basilicata and free Wi-Fi, Taverna Centomani is 10 minutes' drive from Potenza center. A working biological farm, this property has private land with cows and sheep.

I liked the old city center area, all the restaurants and shops just a short walk on mostly level ground. It seemed very safe! I would have liked to see the museum but it was a little too far and down a steep hill for a troublesome knee. A little knowledge of Italian and a translation app was helpful. The people would work with you and overall we’re very kind.

An interesting city for a short visit.
An interesting city for a short visit. A nice Archeological museum (general tours are in Italian exclusively). The city is rich in its theatre but unfortunately, we came out of a season. The historic city centre is situated on the top of a high natural hill; verticals in the city are striking. Therefore, free public elevators are quite ordinary means of transportation.
The room with the en-suite bathroom was perfect for my mixed journey of business and tourism. The B&B is 10 minutes from Potenza Centrale and 20 minutes on foot from the old city uphill (or shorter if you take the escalator Via Marconi). The flat is very well maintained and clean. The host, Stefania, was very friendly and helpful with regard to practical questions. Italian-style breakfast. The rooms are decorated with handicraft/art works by Stefania, which gives them a nice personal touch.
The property is beautiful and spacious but is located in an ugly apartment building which is rather noisy as you can hear all the other people coming in and out.The free parking noted is dependent on the parked cars outside when we arrived we only could find payed parking. The place is near a supermarket. Potenza is NOT a romantic beautiful city and this is certainly not a romantic getaway apartment but you do get a very nice place to stay for a good price
Very nice, well-located, affordable accommodation option in Potenza. The apartment was very clean (including the bathroom) and well maintained. My bed was comfortable. The room I stayed in had a TV, a fan and desk. The host is very organized and communication with them was swift. Check-in (self-check in) was a breeze thanks to the very detailed instructions by the host. All was very good, I would certainly stay here again.
I really liked this hotel in the heart of Potenza, very cute and comfortable. Very big rooms and we had 2 balconies!
We had a very late check in, and the hotel has organized everything in a best way for us, we have sent the documents by whatsapp and our key was waiting for un on the reception. Strongly reccomend this hotel when you come to Potenza!
We loved our stay in Potenza at the Corso 18 Apartment. Pietro was very helpful and was on hand to check in and help us enter the our private parking garage. The apartment is very well-appointment and comfortable. What's more, the location is amazing with easy access to the center of the city by nearby steps or a free public elevator.
The apartment is well located, right in the heart of Potenza. The bedroom was very clean and spacious with a beautiful mountain/city view. The apartment itself was super clean and well maintained with a lot of space. The staff member was very helpful and friendly to us. We truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
The location is near the historic center, and the apartment is great. The host was very welcoming, she responded quickly to our requests and she was easy to communicate with even though she did not speak a perfect English. I would totally recommend this place if you visit Potenza, it is perfect also for long stays.
The apartment consisting of three rooms and a kitchenette is very cosy, calm and elegant. All rooms have separate bathrooms. The historical centre is at the corner, so is the famous escalator of Potenza. The host Lello is a very kind and caring person, he gave us a lot of great recommendations.
Since I was staying in Potenza only to catch the train in the morning, I chose this condominium apartment because of its proximity to the station. But it was quite near the Marconi entrance to the escalators to the historic center. This apartment is a practical choice.
NIce hotel, very friendly and multi-lingual staff (I spoke only italian, but heard them dealing with other guests in english). Good breakfast with everything one could want-would be nicer if opened before 7am, but at 7 everything was ready.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient place next to the Old Town. The room was always clean, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was of Italian style with pastries, fruits, yoghurts and good coffee.
Great location, capuccino in the morning😋, great room
size with a balcony facing the street, great staff - everything was perfect! I would stay there again when I come to Potenza
Great room, breakfast, and beautiful view. Very friendly host! Book this unique B&B when you visit Potenza because it’s better and uniquer than the standard hotels.
Great location near pedestrian walkway Simona was very helpful at getting us a taxi to the train and introducing us to people that could help us locally.
