The staff was kind and fully supportive. Because of my delayed arrival they sent clear directions on how to access the room as the reception was closed after 11pm. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, Internet was working fine.

We needed a stop for one night. Now we wish we could have stayed a couple nights. Wonderful historic villa. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Fantastic dining and wine, albeit not open every night. The restaurant is a highlight, amazing food, great staff, superb wine, overall fantastic experience!
The pool is nice, but can be crowded - it's operated independently from the hotel, you can reserve spots for free. Almost all staff was extremely nice, except the woman who greeted us: a simple 'welcome' goes a long way. Coming from a different hotel, it was a bit jarring, but no big issue.
Location is in the middle of vineyards, as expected, very quiet (not counting the pool music). Nearby Faenza had good food and is worth a visit. Bologna is an hour drive away, but Castelbolognese train station is very close and cuts down travel time overall.
Breakfast was ok, great pies and cakes. Amazing coffee. The room was pretty and clean. As a bonus, there's peafowl all over the place, gorgeous creatures.

Engaging knowledgeable and welcoming owners and staff made a most pleasant stay in the country outside a most interesting town. Comfortable commendations. Excellent breakfast and two fabulous dinners. Good WiFi. A true Italian country home with history and modern features. Use GPS coordinates to insure a smooth find for the country location with a beautiful country view, Barbara and Roberto were most informative and we learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there.

Ca' Vincenzona is family run and is a perfect place to relax for a few days. During the course of the visit we met several family members as they shared duties. Breakfast was fantastic. There was a nice selection of prosciutto, salami, mortadella, cheeses, bread, bacon, eggs, etc....We also had dinner 2 nights and it was very good, featuring freshly made local dishes.
The beds are very comfortable. The rooms were clean and were refreshed every day.
Riccardo and his family made us feel very much at home with special touches such as a bottle of wine, and surprising us with some local food when we sat out on the patio.
International Ceramics Museum is a must see! Hard to find the Central square but very nice when we finally did. Parking is difficult in the town. Both restaurants at Villa Abbondazi are quite nice, especially the Michelin rated one.

Nice town to walk and dine in and things are all convenient to train station. Nice art museum. I only come to Faenza for business, but am happier here than in the larger cities and look forward to something more relaxing and less stressful than Venice, Florence, Rome, etc.

We discovered Faenza when planning our first trip to Greece...
We discovered Faenza when planning our first trip to Greece by car with our dog 6 years ago as it is only a 2 hour trip to Ancona ferry.
We have stayed in the center, on fruit farms on the outskirts and among olive groves and vineyards up in the hills behind Faenza We love it all.
There is ample free parking in front of the hotel and the rooms are very spacious. Built in a kind of Brutalist style (which I like) the hotel is a 15 mins walk from the centre of Faenza. The lobby of the hotel is also spacious and is home to a number of Vespa scooters, a delightfully quirky touch. The management were very friendly and helpful. The recommended restaurant, Cucina Briganti, was superb with reasoable prices and a wide menu choice including pizza and regional dishes.
The rooms are very big and spacious, the hotel is like an author art gallery, Phillipe Artias is the artist, a French expressionist. The breakfast is great, some of the ingredients are from local farm. There is big garden with trees, herbs, vegetables, flowers. Very nice. There is a highway close, but you can not hear the noise from inside. The nights were really quiet. The host Miria is very helpful and eager to do anything to make your stay great. Grazie, Miria!
The suite of rooms - private bathroom, kitchenette/ sitting area and bedroom - is part of a beautiful apartment in an old house in the centre of Faenza which is a lovely old town.
Simona, my hostess, has filled it with cats and a spectacular collection of art and ceramics, some of the latter made by herself. She herself is absolutely lovely - always wanting to help but never intrusive. It was great to meet and talk with her. Will definitely be back.
Pleasant sunny breakfast terrace. Nice evening meal on site, but please note they do not serve meals every day. Great selection of their own delicious wines to taste and buy. Lovely surroundings and space to take walks. It was too cool to take a swim but the pool looked great! Short drive to Faenza, Brisighella, Dozza, and other nice towns in the surrounding area. Good starting point for bike rides to explore the countryside.
Just as pictured, the room is a very spacious ground floor room with attached bathroom. It is on a quiet side street close to the ceramics museum so despite being on the ground floor there is hardly any noise. The hosts were very sweet and welcoming and gave me good advice on where to eat. I tried two recommendations (Osteria La Baita for dinner and Nove100 for breakfast) and both were excellent. I would happily stay again.
Beautiful location. Lovely room with everything you
could need. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Stunning views from every window.
Host is so kind and helpful. We were made to
feel very welcome. The food he cooked for
supper was delicious - served outside on the
terrace with a nice bottle of wine. A perfect
evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Within easy
reach of Ravenna and Faenza - well worth a longer
stay!
Kindness of staff (owner). Excellent service. Very good breakfast. Beautiful villa, completely restored.
Particularly interesting are the sketches on its walls by the New Zealand army which liberated Faenza from the Nazi's in 1944, as well as related provided documentation.
The staff were very patient and the breakfast was delicious! Booked a double room, but the room allocated by the hotel is super big and can even accommodate four people! The transportation is also super convenient, it only takes five minutes to go to the museum!
The hosts were wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The area was quite within walking distance from the small center of Faenza. Rooms were nice, clean with superb design. Perfekt for staying 3-4 people, then you will have the house for yourself.
This place was perfectly situated for us to get the train into Bologna for the Fiera. We parked near the station at Castel Bolognese. We were able to have an early breakfast which was plentiful. It is also convenient for going into Faenza.
Although outside the historic area of Faenza, the property is very close and at a walking distance to the city centre. The hosts were kind and the room was large enough, Internet was fine and all the kitchen facilities were working.
You can park your car free. It is a silent environment. Having a kitchen was wonderful. There are not many places you can eat out in Faenza, so it was important. The host was exceptional. I strongly recommend the place.
Great attention to detail, Simona is the best host i've stayed at. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The room, location and amenities are all perfect. When i go to Faenza, i will definitely stay here again.
The staff is so nice and profesional. The rooms were very very clean and had a beautifull view, nature all around. Food and vine excellent! Also, the "hotels dog", Lola, is the sweetest dog host ever!!!
The host was very kind and we were received warmly. The place was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Also, we were in the very center of Faenza, and close to the train station.
