Very Clean, great breakfast with both continental, and american style foods. In a good locations ,only a few yards from the train station, and bus depot for the port shuttle. Room was better than average for this style of hotel. View of beach was wonderful from window. They were able to store out luggage until check in so we could wander around the port. Staff was very helpful.

The most welcoming hotel we've ever been to. Pleasant and accommodating. We arrived at 7:30am after an overnight flight and within 30 minutes they had a room prepared for us. They offered us breakfast while we waited. Wonderful customer service. The location was awesome. Very close to the pier, restaurants and shops. They ordered us a taxi which wasn't easy since there aren't that many in the area and too many ships. They kept close contact with us to let us know when a taxi would arrive. I would highly recommend this hotel. Room was a bit dated and beds were okay, balcony was big however, the room was immaculate. Very fair pricing.

The hotel is an outstanding location for pre-cruise travellers as the location is just a few steps away from Largo della Pace where cruisers pick up the free shuttle to the cruise terminal. Just roll your luggages along the sidewalk then across the street onto the ramp towards area where the shuttle awaits.

Small city. Older buildings and infrastructure.
Small city. Older buildings and infrastructure. Uneven paved sidewalks, some graffiti but seemed very safe. Just an older Italian town that’s packed fairly tight. Lots of dining options, but hours are different from what Americans are used to.

We did not stay long enough to get to know it well enough...
We did not stay long enough to get to know it well enough but what I saw was great. I would advise anyone travelling to a hotel in town and coming off the Barcelona ferry not to use the Sat Nav until well into the centre. It is likely to take you through the port to a controlled gate which you will not be allowed to pass and you will be sent back. Just follow signs to the centre then switch on Sat Nav when well clear of the port.

Great location to explore for a few days.
Great location to explore for a few days. We tag this as more authentic Italy, slightly less tourism.
Best/fresh seafood and pizza.
We skipped this city prior to a previous cruise but glad we stayed this time.
Enjoyed it immensely, liked the vibe. Seafront promenade and parks.
Good shopping, affordable food and an easy walk most places including the train station and cruiseport.
As with most of europe - toilets were a little more difficult to locate, mainly at restaurants.
Andrea is so nice and so helpfull. I traveled with my son of 8 years old and my son even made and drawing for Andrea and told me that I have to give a 10 for this accomodation.
The location is also perfect, few minutes walking from the train station, few minutes walking for the shuttle bus to the port. Around the accomodation is everything you need: sea, restaurants, souvenir shops, McDonalds, great ice crem and coffee corners, pharmacy etc.
GREAT ACCOMODATION in Civitavecchia.
Milena and Layla organized our transfers from the airport to the hotel, on arrival they both met us at the hotel, showed us to our room and explained all that was in the area, we needed to get PCR tests done before we went on a cruise which they arranged an appointment for us on the morning of the cruise , on the morning of departure they arranged transfers to the port, we would highly recommend this boutique hotel especially if you were cruising from Civitavecchia
My goodness this was one of our highlight of our 2 weeks vacation. Fabrizio was the best. He was a great host. His apartment was way more than we expected. We will highly recommend Fabrizio and his beautiful apartment. He is an honest and we are so looking forward to returning to Civitavecchia someday and spend more time at this place. Thank you Fabrizio. I will be sending you pict soon.
I chose this hotel as it was the perfect location for a one night stay to join our cruise ship the next morning. The free shuttle bus from “Port Mobility” is about a three minute walk from the hotel. The cleanliness & size of the bathroom was far superior to other hotels we have used in Civitavecchia.
Francesca the host made us feel very welcome & could not do enough for us.
Our host was very gracious and offered to pick us up at the train station. He helped us get settled and told us the basics. There was a large assortment of packaged food , drinks, and even beer. The place was much more comfortable than a hotel. The bedroom TV included netflix. It is a very short walk to the cruise shuttle.
Central location. Many good restaurants and shopping within a block. The terrace was large, with potted flowers. Accommodations beautiful and very comfortable bedding. Enjoyed having a kettle with tea provided. Breakfast really nice. Friendly staff. I will book Lifestyle and Suites on my next visit to Civitavecchia.
It was right on the sea front and only a short journey to Rome. This meant that we could have both a relaxing holiday and also do some sightseeing. The room was comfortable with all the facilities that we would need. The host was a lovely lady who could not have done enough for us! Thankyou so much for the best holiday!
Location perfect for a short stay in Civitavecchia. Hotel close to the big market, restaurants to walk to, and short walk to promenade. Lovely city to stay. Breakfast and staff excellent! So warm and friendly. Room a little small but not too small, bed comfortable. Has elevator. Like a boutique inn. Would stay again!
Simone the owner was extremely friendly and very professional. Even though we had a change of plans due to a transport strike in Italy, he was very understanding and accommodating and allowed us to chk in early. He went out of his way to guide us to the port and arranged a taxi for us despite it being difficult.
Very clean, spacious room with good airconditioning. Owners were extremely professional and friendly. Our previously reserved shuttle from Rome airport to Civitavecchia was cancelled at the last minute but the owner rescued us at the last minute and collected us at the airport for a very reasonable rate.
Location was amazing, good view, comfortable bed, nice walking area around. This hotel works good for people who going on cruise. Facilities are beautiful, building is ancient. Bed were comfortable. A lot of small local restaurants around. Railway station is around the corner.
The owner was so helpful. The evening meal was nice. He took us to the port and dropped us at the terminal. He also let us return to the hotel on our last day as we left the ship at 8.30 am and had a late flight home. we will come back if we cruise from Rome again.
Parking was the criteria for booking since parking in Civitavecchia is a challenge. The parking lot was gated and very secure. The staff was very user friendly. Would stay again and recommend especially if you want to have a secure off street parking spot.
The hotel was very good and the staff are exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast buffet was good and had a good selection. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I would stay here again .Great location
Great location, very clean and spacious rooms, also very quiet. Anna was a great host and very helpful. The best 2 star hotel I have stayed at. Breakfast was also excellent. would definitely stay here again.
The manager of the hotel, Luca, is a friendly, professional who has a great personality and sense of humor. He will assist you in whatever it is that you need. A great asset to the hotel!
Best hotel on Civitavecchia ocean front street! We loved it. The Receptionist team was always busy trying to help everyone. Thank you Hotel Mediterraneo.
