The old town is walled with tight streets. It is full of good bars and restaurants with a real historical feel and much to see. The beach area is so so, but Alassio is close by (walkable if you want to take the roman road) if you want a good beach.

Albenga is very different city compared to others in Liguria. It is unique because there is a sense of space as the mountains are slightly far away from the sea. Plus Albenga has a very old town centre with small roads where only pedestrian are allowed to walk, therefore it is very safe, peaceful and you are immersed in another epoque! Beautiful, I go there as much as I can :)

Wonderful and quiet town with a bit of retro feel. Very dog friendly. We will definitely come back soon. Good restaurants and food shopping, nice beaches and close to everything, you don’t need a car. Not many tourists from outside Italy.GunnarSweden

Our hosts Patrizia and her son Gabriele are the kindest people who were available for any requests by WhatsApp day and night. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and had everything required to be comfortable. The facilities were more than we expected. It’s perhaps the most personalized and welcoming hotel experience I have ever had. Beautiful, clean rooms and a very friendly staff. Breakfast made to your request, no buffet here. We had lovely caffè, croissants, and I can really recommend scrambled eggs with a side of focaccia. We only stayed one night but will come back for both the restaurant and the hotel. Absolutely recommend!!

The beach is 10-15 mins on foot (based on how fast you walk). The old town is less than 5 mins walk. Cafe, restaurants, and the Gelato shop are all within 3 mins walk. It is exceptional place and exceptional host. Patrizia’s attention to all details makes any stay in the apartment a breeze. It is located in the old town of Albenga and just a short walk from the sea. Our toddler girl was excited about all the toys, books and beach toys.

Good place to use it as a hub traveling by car to visit other small towns. There are many places to see from here, have activities (hiking, mtb bicycle riding) or just go to lay on the beach.
